How it works
01
Pick a Stock Token — $NVDA, $AAPL, $TSLA — and a floor, 5% to 15% below spot.
02
Pay the premium once, in $USDG. No deposit of the shares. No margin.
03
At expiry, Chainlink’s official close settles it. Below your floor, you’re paid in USDG. Above it, nothing happens.

$WINK
Not yet live — $WINK is coming soon.
$WINK is the protocol’s token once live. Staking $WINK will lower the premium fee.
Staked $WINK also acts as complementary first-loss capital in the pool, earning a higher yield for the risk taken.
10% protocol fee on premiums, split 50% buy&burn / 50% treasury once active.

Edge cases
- Frozen price feed at expiry: settlement rolls to the next available official close, no fee.
- Halt at expiry: same rollover.
- Weekend: no expiry is ever set on a non-trading day.
- Abnormal print: short contest window before final settlement.
- Empty pool: structurally prevented by the 5x notional cap; otherwise pro-rata payout instead of default.

FAQ
What happens if my floor is never crossed?
You lose the premium, like an insurance policy that wasn't claimed.
Do I need to deposit my Stock Tokens?
No. They stay in your wallet the whole time.
What price decides the payout?
Chainlink's official close at expiry, nothing else.
Can I close a policy early?
Not in this version — durations are fixed and short by design.
Are the contracts audited?
Not yet. Wink is experimental software; contracts are unaudited until stated otherwise.
